How I work
Ship working software
A polished prototype that never ships is worth nothing. I bias toward getting real code in front of real users, then iterating. Perfection is a moving target — momentum is a strategy.
Read the source
When something breaks, I go to the source. Documentation lies; code doesn't. This habit has saved more debugging hours than any tool I've ever bought.
Build for the next person
That next person is usually me, six months later. Code is communication. I write it like I'll need to explain it to someone who has no context — because I will.
